1. USE GOOGLE INSTANT SEARCH FOR KEYWORDS

Secret WordPress SEO Tips To Get Your Blog Rank in 2013 There are so many seo keyword tools online to use, but at the end of the day one of the simplest tools (and FREE) is to use Google Instant Search. Just type in the main topic of your blog post, in as few words as possible, and see what suggestions Google makes for you. Then figure out a way to use these additional keywords in your title and in your blog post so that your post shows up on more pages when users are searching. Secret WordPress SEO Tips To Get Your Blog Rank in 2013 Bonus Tip: After your main keyword phrase, try typing the first letter of each letter in the alphabet to see what search suggestions Google will give to you. For example, if your blog post is about the Google Penguin Update, then try doing a search for Google Penguin A and see what results Google will display for you. In the example below you will see that Google recommends the search results for: Google Penguin Algorithm, Google Penguin Algorithm Change, Google Penguin Anchor Text, Google Penguin and Panda. Secret WordPress SEO Tips To Get Your Blog Rank in 2013 You can repeat this process for every letter in the alphabet, and get a long list of very relevant keywords to include in your content for each blog post. And these results come directly from Google, showing you exactly what people are searching for. Pretty Simple.

2. COMMON MISSPELLINGS IN THE TAGS SECTION

Many people ask me what to write in the “tags” section of their blog post. Ideally this spot should be reserved to organize your blog posts into topics that are maybe a little more in-depth that your categories. For example, if the category was “SEO”, then maybe a tag would be “Google Panda“, or “WordPress SEO“. Another unique strategy for the tags section of your WordPress blog posts is to use a few different variations of the word that people might spell wrong when searching for your content. For example, if you are writing a post about the “Google Penguin Algorithm” as mentioned above, then you might consider adding a tag to this post spelled this way: “Google Penguin Algorythm“. You never want to spam your post with empty keywords, but put yourself in the position of the searcher who is trying to find your content. If there is a word that they might misspell (like the word mispell), then you may want to add that to the tags to help them find your content. Secret WordPress SEO Tips To Get Your Blog Rank in 2013

3. YOUTUBE EMBEDDED VIDEOS FOR SEO SPEED

In the screenshot below you will see a basic strategy that I have used on many blogs to come up with relevant content for posts, and draft them up extremely fast. I average about 2 minutes per post with this strategy, and it doesn’t require as much focus on each post, so I love this strategy because I can put on a movie, fire up my laptop, and write 20-30 blogs posts during the movie, while still paying attention to the movie! In a nutshell, you find videos on youtube that are relevant to the topic of your blog, then embed them into your blog post, and add a unique title, unique description, and a featured image for the post. You then publish the post, and share it on Facebook or Twitter. There is a lot more to this strategy that I teach in depth in my training webinars, but here is a sneak peek to get started:

4. SOCIAL SHARING TITLES VS. SEO TITLES

Secret WordPress SEO Tips To Get Your Blog Rank in 2013Okay, now this is one of the most common mistakes that bloggers make. They use the same title for their blog post when optimizing for search engines and when sharing in social media. In fact, most bloggers don’t realize that they can use two different titles. Here are two simple ways to make this happen. Option #1 – Use an SEO WordPress plugin. There are many options out there, so I don’t really need to recommend any, but perhaps you could try Yoast SEO, or Platinum SEO Pack, or something similar. These plugins create a new field when creating blog posts where you can add an SEO title and description. This feature allows you to gve the official blog post title something creative that is more likely to get shared on Facebook and Twitter, but use the SEO plugin to create a different title that is better for Google search results. For example, if you used my YouTube video embedding strategy above, you could use a title very similar to the actual YouTube video title (but not exactly), and then use an SEO-based title using the plugin. For instance, in my example above I could have made the blog post title: “Steve Jobs vs. Bill Gates Rap Battle“. And then using the SEO plugin I could have titled it “Apple vs. PC Rap Battle Parody Video – Steve Jobs vs. Bill Gates on Epic Rap Battles of History!” As you can see it gives me the ability to make my post title shorter and straight to the point, and my seo title longer and more keyword rich. This was a basic example but I am sure you get the point.

5. LEVERAGE AN SEO-BASED TABLE OF CONTENTS

When writing a blog post, one of the first things you should do is start with SEO in mind. Choose a topic for the post, then use the strategy above using the Google Instant Search Suggestion Tool, and come up with several bullet points to discuss. Start off by making a list of these bullet points. Then wrap them in header tags (usually h1 or h2), and put a paragraph of information below each one, and perhaps a picture of video. This post is the perfect example of this process. Before starting this post I chose a topic (SEO for WordPress), and I outlined 10 strategies. I then broke them into 5 on-page seo tips, and 5 off-page seo tips. This allowed me to break this post into 2 guest posts rather than just one. These Secret WordPress SEO Tips To Get Your Blog Rank in 2013 will boost your marketing income and increase traffic to your blog

Fast Secret WordPress SEO Tips To Get Your Blog Rank in 2013

My first draft of this post was nothing more than a title, a graphic, and 5 bullet points. Then I previewed the post. From there I simply wrote a paragraph or two under each bullet point, and then previewed the posts again. Then I styled each bullet point with a h1 header tag to separate the points, and added a picture to a few of the paragraphs to give the post more value. You have learn key Secret WordPress SEO Tips To Get Your Blog Rank in 2013 The reason this is an SEO strategy is because Google will see the post, and see your main header points, and will give them more value in the blog post. So if you use good keyword phrases that people are searching for, then you have a great chance of getting ranked well in Google. A good example of this strategy in action is this post here.

A Qucik Tip To Build A Profitable Blog

A Smart Tip To Build A Profitable Blog

“You don’t launch a profitable blog, you build it.”

I can’t remember where I first read that line, but I think it’s the best tip you can live by this New Year. Small business owners, mid-size and multinational companies have learnt that blogging is powerful, and so, everyone is eager to compete with you, by starting a blog. But don’t despair; you’ve YOUR OWN WORLD, and no amount of competition can snatch them away from you, if that’s your decision. Before I share with you the “smart” way to build a profitable blog, I need you to settle this:

Your blog is not for everyone

Yes, this is powerful and unless you respect this fact, it can be difficult to actually build a thriving audience. Your blog is not for everyone. Got it? Consequently, your content is not for every reader out there. I was making a terrible mistake in the past with my blog posts – I was writing to attract free traffic no matter where it comes from. It’s funny because I got an avalanche of free traffic, but conversion rate was poor. For instance, one faithful day, 2057 persons visited my blog, but only 3 persons joined my list. Ouch, please don’t laugh at me… I know why this happened. I was desperately looking for free traffic but didn’t approach it well. No matter the quality of your content, some readers will never like it. You shouldn’t beat yourself to death just because some persons hate your writing. Those readers aren’t in your world. You’ve got to settle this ‘truth’ in your heart, then scale through from there. Now, what’s the tip to help you build a profitable blog?

“Influence” targeted readers

target audience How do you know who your ideal reader is? This can be difficult to determine actually, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible. Here’s the rule of thumb, if a person clicked your headline, read your article, commented or sent you a feedback, subscribed, shared your content or purchased from you, then he or she is your ideal reader. Your blog needs this kind of readers. You can’t trick these people or confuse them with marketing jargons just to squeeze their hard earned money out. They can see through the transparent wall of your content. The words you use. They’re fast runners, too. Also, if they refer the right person to your blog, then they’re targeted as well. If you desire to build a profitable blog, start influencing ideal readers. See, you may not need thousands of them at first, but keep at it. Even if you get 50 active blog readers who share and leave a comment, nurture that relationship and they’d naturally become your evangelists, telling others about you & your blog. BTW: Do you want to build quality links to your website? See 17 Link Building Strategies.

How to influence like a pro

You don’t need to be a professional to influence people. Good news, huh? In fact, beginners are very good at this because they could feel the pains of others better, unlike pro bloggers who now lives in luxury apartments and drive the latest Ferrari 458 Italia. Want success? Take it one step at a time. Influence people by delivering on what you promised, then go the extra mile to over-deliver. For instance, if your article promised to reveal “10 Ways to Build a Brand,” why not share 12 ways? The extra two would act as a Bonus, and at the same time, increase the trust level readers have for you. It’s like getting a lifetime discount when you go shopping? How would you feel if Wal-Mart can do that for you? As copywriters always say, “Under promise, but over deliver!” If you can abide by this friendly rule, the quality of your content would increase. Your customer service would become the envy of competitors and from nowhere, more money would start to flow into your bank account. When there is “influence” it’s a lot easier to build your email list, monetize and gain media traction.

What do you say?

What do people say about your blog and content? Is there a good testimony yet? Don’t worry, as little as “thank you for this post” is, it could lead to a significant growth for your blog. But you must make up your mind to influence people through valuable content. Be consistent. Your content may not be 100% exceptional or angelic, but if it’s practicable and could help readers achieve a specific, vital goal, you’re on track to building a profitable blog. Could you please leave an “influential” comment below? I can’t wait to reply you. See you there!   1k-blogging-banner

Keyword Density- Keyword Tags

Keyword Tags
Keyword density and keyword tags are two very important components of SEO. They are also frequently misunderstood. You see evidence of poor use of each all over the internet. Keyword density and keyword tags are also closely related. If you want to get high search engine ranking for your pages, posts, articles, and videos you must know how to choose your keyword tags and match those keyword tags to the keyword you have in your page, post, article, or video meta description. Sound confusing? Let’s clear it up.

The Facts About Keyword Density and Keyword Tags

First let’s talk about keyword tags. Keyword tags are meta-tags on a webpage that help in determining the main topic of that page or post. Because of keyword stuffing over the years, search engines pay little attention to the keywords you choose on an article or page. I have seen many people put literally hundreds of keyword tags on their posts or videos thinking that the multitude of keywords they list will help them get found by the search engines for each and every keyword.

Keyword DensityWrong! The more keywords in your keyword tag list that do not match with the words found on the web page, the less relevant all of your keywords become. Let’s assume you are writing an article about network marketing for your web page. You choose the words network marketing as your keyword. You know that searchers may type MLM into the search box instead of network marketing, so you include MLM in your keyword list. You also figure that some people looking for a home-based business would be great visitors to your webpage, and so you include home-based business in your keyword list. In your effort to include all the variations you possibly can, you might add the keywords best business from home, make money from home, home business opportunities, best MLM, choosing an MLM, and the list can go on forever. Here’s why that is not effective, and can even kill your hope of a high search engine rank based on your keyword tags and keyword density.

Keyword density refers to the number of keywords on the page. If you take a look at the keyword tags we were referring to in the previous paragraph, how many could naturally be incorporated in one article or page? Keep in mind that for a keyword to really stand out and show the search engines the actual topic of your post, there should be a density of about 3 to 4%. In other words, out of every hundred words on the page there should be three or four instances of that keyword. Obviously there’s no way you can have twenty different keywords each having a 3 or 4% density.

There would be no article! Remember, the objective of keyword density and keyword tags is to help the article or page get ranked and then found. In order to facilitate that, the search engines need to be able to see clearly what the topic of the article is. Search engines are successful by giving relevant results on customers’ searches. Google grew to be so incredibly powerful as a search engine because it offered fast and comprehensive result to the searchers each and every time, so they kept coming back. Keep in mind that search engines cannot think. If the search engines cannot define the topic of the page or post through words that repeat throughout the post, they will never rank it highly, period.

The Keyword Density and Keyword Tags Solution

Here’s the solution to keyword density and keyword tags. Before writing your article, do your keyword research. Choose one or two keywords (longtail or single words). Then write your 400 to 700 word article with the appropriate density. Then use just those one or two keywords as your keyword tags. If you approach your article this way, you can see how simple it would be for the search engines to rank you for those specific keywords. With your keyword density and keyword tags properly planned and balanced you have a chance to win the ranking game.

I chose two sets of keywords for this article. Can you tell me what they are? One longtail keyword I chose is keyword density. The other is keyword tags. Would I like the search engines to pick up this article for SEO? Sure. If I went after that third keyword, SEO, it would just make the focus of my article more blurry in the eyes of the search engines, wouldn’t it? Keyword density and keyword tags are so interrelated.

Since tags are really not a huge factor in SEO, but can have a value if they support the results that the search engines find in the keyword density of your article, make sure that your keyword tags match exactly with the keywords that you have a density of 3 to 4% in your article. Otherwise you created more confusion than clarity. Now that you really know how everything works relative to keyword density and keyword tags, look at the posts, articles, webpages, and videos that are up all over the Internet that do this incorrectly. Their mistakes are your opportunity to surpass their SEO rankings. Be disciplined with your keyword density and keyword tags and you can start the competition to rank on the first page with confidence.

Five Key Reasons Why People Can’t Make Money Online

The common statistic that gets thrown around a lot is that 95% of people fail to make money online. It’s because of this that I often get asked what the secret to my success is.
I could give you my secret now. However, I think it’s better worth your time to know the main reasons why those 95% fail, so that you can avoid their pitfalls.

1 – Quitting Too Soon
I know a number of people who have made the effort to start something online. Then at the first hurdle they stumble, fall and walk away.
And that hurdle is different for everyone. It could be that they didn’t know how to create a web page or set up their autoresponder.

People don’t fail because they don’t know how to do something. They fail because they don’t figure out another way of getting that job done.

I’m not a technical guy. I don’t enjoy writing code or doing any form of programming. And don’t get me started on creating graphics. I don’t know how to do these things. But I’ve never let it stop me from moving forward.

For everything you can’t do, there will be a talented individual who can.
This should never be a reason to give up on your dream of making money online. There are plenty of places you can go to find the right people to complete tasks professionally and efficiently for you.

2 – Picking The Wrong Niche
Now there’s no such thing as a right or wrong niche. What I mean is that the niche you pick has to be right for you.

So many people get into this business and go for the biggest, most lucrative niche out there. But they have zero knowledge about it and absolutely no interest in it whatsoever.
As much as we talk about creating a passive income and living the dot com dream, the truth of the matter is you have to put in a lot of work before you reach that point.
If you’re not doing something you are passionate about, your time online is going to be painful and difficult.

3 – Thinking It Will Be Fast and Easy
It takes months to reach a stable income from online endeavors. Many people fail to realize that. Nearly every day I’ll receive an email from someone asking “How do I make money online?” What possible answer do these kinds of people expect from a question like that?
A one word answer that will solve all their problems?

I’m afraid it doesn’t work that way. I earn $40,000 a month from my blog. But it still took me two years to reach that point. And it was during that time that I made mistakes, lost money, kept learning and continued to improve.

It was a bumpy ride. But I never quit. Every failure was a lesson that made me better.
Many people go out and buy a ton of products and expect to be making money overnight because of that purchase.

Making money online is neither easy nor fast, however it can be fun. I’ve always said that it’s not the destination but the journey that matters. Realize that you have to be consistent and committed. And most importantly, don’t give up.

4 – No Planning
A lot of people rush into Internet marketing without an action plan. They have all these ideas that they want to implement but no system to follow.
So some do everything all at once and their business becomes one big mess. They aren’t able to focus their efforts properly, so in the end nothing is fully executed. Others do things in sequences that just don’t make sense. And they lose out on so much potential cash because of it.
You must plan your schedule ahead for the coming weeks and months. Figure out what your short term and long term plans are. Then write down all the steps you’ll be taking to achieve them.
The key to making money online successfully is to follow a proven system.

5 – Information Overload
With so much stuff available on the Internet, it’s tough to know where to start. Information is abundant, both free and paid. In truth, everything you need to know about making money online is online.

For a lot of people who are interested in earning an income from home, they take one look at the millions of websites, countless tips and tricks, products and programs and software, and they just get completely overwhelmed.

And here’s what happens.

They suffer from information overload.

Now I don’t blame these people for getting lost and feeling overwhelmed by the sheer amount of information out there. But this is the worst excuse to not being able to make money online.
Imagine that you needed to drive to a certain location but didn’t know the way. So you asked friends and checked your GPS. And you received multiple routes from different sources. Instead of logically going through the answers, trusting the most reliable source, looking for someone who had been there before who could help you, you give up and stay home.

It’s the same concept with making money online. Yes, there are a lot of products out there that promise riches and websites that promote different techniques and strategies. It’s hard to separate the wheat from the chaff.

But there are also reliable sources of information from guys like me who have been around for ages and seen it all. If you’re still looking for a system that will get you proven results using time and tested methods, you could give my new program, Big Idea MasterMind.
Don’t let a fear of getting lost stop you from leaving the house.
